Kindly correct any “Reverend” by telling them that is not what they should be called
Did you know that anyone who calls themselves a reverend is clearly out of order while acting like they are God and likely do not realize it yet?
Reverend is what we call God alone.
Just take a look for yourself…
He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant forever: holy and reverend is his name.
~ Psalm 111:9
This is describing God not a huMAN.
Pride is high in this world with people calling themselves God and there are many ways that people do this without realizing WHAT they are doing.
It’s done in many ways that all lead to hell.
So sternly but gently remind the next “Reverend” that you see in church and abroad and say, “Hey that’s God’s name. You should not call yourself Reverend.”
God tells you and me to judge righteously and to tell one another the truth because this is one of many ways that you show that you love your neighbor.
If that “Reverend” gets upset because you told them the truth then hit them with,
“Have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?”
~ (Galatians 4:16).
And yes this is for my friends out there who read my posts and do not profess to be Christian - you don’t have to be a Christian to tell someone the truth, so go tell “Rev” what needs to be said!
